Resetting Passwords

Whenever you change your UGA MyID password, your UGAMail or your UGA Calendar password, you will need to revisit the Notify Client Settings web page (you can also login on the right) to reset the passwords that your BlackBerry uses to check your e-mail and your calendar.

UGA Central BlackBerry Service

This service allows you to access your UGAMail and Calendar accounts wirelessly via your BlackBerry handheld device.

Currently, the charges for this service for the user will be $16.86 per month or $202.32 per year . The annual cost of the service will be negotiated on a yearly basis and is dependent on the number of users on the system and system licensing fees.

The process for attaining BlackBerry service is as follows:

1. Attain approval for wireless device. You MUST be approved for wireless service via UGA’s Wireless Communications Devices Approval System. EITS will verify that you are in the current database of approved devices before proceeding with account creation.
   
   
2. After receiving approval, sign and fax to EITS (706.583.0260) a Service Level Agreement (SLA) document which states the terms and conditions for the service. On the Service Level Agreement you must provide an account number for billing purposes.
   
   
3. Submit a request for an account to EITS.
   
   
4. You will receive an Email specifying a URL to sign into the system for the first time.
