The Information Systems Scheduling and Quality Division provide data processing services for the Office of Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration and the Office of Student Affairs. Daily services are provided for approximately forty (40) departments, which include one-hundred thirty-nine (139) systems.
The four primary functional areas of the ISSQ Division are Production Control, Operations & Courier Services, Production Scheduling and Quality Assurance. Included in the services provided by these areas are computer job-submittal and scheduling, distribution of computer-generated output, computer tape maintenance, courier services and quality assurance for production systems.

ISSQ Production Control is responsible for processing incoming data and requests from administrative clientele. This function includes the processing of source documents, set-up and submittal of computer batch jobs, distribution of computer-generated reports, and computer tape maintenance.
ISSQ Operations provides operational support to numerous departments located on the University of Georgia's North Campus. The ISSQ division provides Communications support to the Business Services Building. A remote site operational facility is also maintained which provides monitoring and printer services. Support is provided utilizing a JES3 Console; IMS, MVSMON, TSO, UGAMail, OASIS and PageCenter are also monitored via consoles.
ISSQ Courier Services is responsible for maintaining pick-up and delivery schedule. Courier services are provided for approximately twelve (12) other departments on the University of Georgia campus. Daily pick-up and delivery services are provided each day. Additionally, emergency runs are provided on request.
ISSQ Production Scheduling provides production scheduling services for the Office of Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration and the Office of Student Affairs. This service includes operator-specific functions and maintenance of a production environment from 8:00am until 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
As with operational support, production scheduling also requires the monitoring of a JES3 console, MVSMON, TSO, UGAMail, OASIS, PageCenter monitoring , printer services and scheduling of administrative systems.
ISSQ Quality Assurance division handles service requests from ADD staff regarding production moves and related topics. This function includes the set-up and submittal of computer batch jobs used to move objects from the development environment to the production environment. The QA Support Center is staffed from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. 24 hour support is provided by on-call personnel.
