Portfolio and Program Management Office (PMO) provides leadership in the promotion and facilitation of a performance-based IT environment supporting EITS and other UGA IT entities. We will collaborate and partner with IT operating units to achieve this objective by fostering validated decision support activities; by assisting divisions in the conversion of operational data into performance management metrics and information; by performing assessment activities through benchmarking and process evaluation; and by assisting in the identification of resource capabilities used for fact-based budgeting and staffing.
PMO strategic objectives, in keeping with the overall mission of the division, will provide leadership and guidance to the organization by facilitating the design and development of a performance-based IT culture. This overall objective will be focused in four primary areas:
Enabling the organization to become a more customer focused, performance driven, and learning organization. The goal is to continually improve as an organization such that we continue to be recognized as a state and national IT leader and an organization others wish to model.
