IMPORTANT!
If you are ready to apply these changes to the server, select Reinitialize System. This will unbind and rebind all the protocol stacks and apply your changes without requiring a reboot of the server. However, if your building is not yet switched to the gigabit network, this will result in A LOSS OF SERVICE. Only apply these changes when your building is cut over to the gigabit network. If you are unsure about when to apply the changes, contact your DNL or the EITS Helpdesk (542-3106).
We have had reports of Reinitialize System failing to properly reset the protocol stacks. If this happens to you, simply restart your server and the changes will be applied.
Any questions or concerns, please contact the EITS Helpdesk (542-3106) for assistance.
