The request for new telephone service is initiated by your department's Telephone Representative. We submit your request to GTA service crews and a GTA technician then visits your office/building and installs your telephone.
Requests from departmental telephone service representatives are submitted via a work order to the University of Georgia Telephone Services Office. Work orders are completed as fast as possible in chronological order. Emergency work orders are prioritized as such and take first priority for service crews. Every attempt is made to facilitate the entire process so please do not hesistate to work with your departmental telephone service representative and this office to get proper service.
