Information security awareness display in Tate Student Center lobby precedes Computer Health Fair

ATHENS, Ga.— All UGA students, faculty, and staff are invited to stop by and see the information security awareness materials currently on display in the lobby of the Tate Student Center. The display, which is located directly across from the theater, features posters and brochures promoting safety and security for computer users on the Internet.

The display precedes the Computer Health Fair planned for April 14, 2005. Sponsored by the EITS Office of Information Security, the Computer Health Fair will give students, faculty, and staff at UGA the opportunity to have their laptop computers checked out by computer professionals. The focus of the Computer Health Fair will be computer security, including virus and spyware protection.
