CIO and Associate Provost Dr. Barbara White named finalist for Women of the Year in Technology Awards

ATHENS, Ga.— UGA CIO and Associate Provost Dr. Barbara White has been selected as a finalist for one of three awards sponsored by the Women in Technology (WIT) organization. White is a finalist for the "Not for Profit / Public Sector" award. WIT's Women of the Year in Technology Awards recognize the achievements of Georgia women in technology leadership roles. The award was established in 1999 to show appreciation for women in the Georgia technology community who contribute their talents and leadership, both within their organization and within their community.
