(www.ruckus.com) The session will open with panelists making short presentations on their particular expertise area regarding digital media downloading. A moderated question and answer period will follow the presentations. All UGA students, faculty, and staff are invited and no registration is required for the event. Students who participate in the Blue Card program will receive program credit for attending the Digital Media Downloading Panel. The Digital Media Downloading Panel is taking place during Cyber Security Awareness Month. The goal of National Cyber Security Awareness Month is to educate everyday Internet users on how to "Protect Yourself Before You Connect Yourself," by taking simple and effective steps. Music and entertainment downloads present a particular risk to Internet users as files downloaded to a computer can contain virus, spyware, or other malicious programs.
