EITS welcomes Ilir Hasko as new director of Application Architecture and Integration

ATHENS, Ga.— Ilir Hasko has joined EITS as the Director of Application Architecture and Integration, effective September 2, 2008. Hasko will be responsible projects such as removing SSNs out of UGA's business processes, the development of a comprehensive institutional data warehouse, Identity Management, and similar projects.

Hasko comes from the Lehman Brothers Company, where he served as Assistant Vice President of the Corporate Applications team. In his prior role he managed large-scale IT initiatives, enhanced project delivery practices, and conceptualized strategic direction and development of various administrative systems. He has demonstrated experience in providing leadership and vision for applying cutting-edge technical solutions in support of novel strategic initiatives at the University of Georgia.

Ilir received his MS degree in Information Technology from the Daniels School of Business, University of Denver. His core belief is in supporting academic and social work enterprises. His volunteer leadership roles include Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Galaway Foundation (which provides merit-based scholarships to students in need), Board of Directors Member for CommonWorks (a non-for-profit organization serving adults with developmental disabilities and child placement), and Data Warehousing Advisory Board Member at the Daniels School of Business.
