Beware of emails announcing new instant messaging service from the Campus Collaboration Project

ATHENS, Ga.— Please be aware that emails such as the following announcing a new instant messaging service and notes sharing system are spam. The Web sites all point to the Campus Collaboration Project. This project is not endorsed by the University of Georgia.

New Account Activation:

As part of an initiative to bring new web technologies to campus, we have
implemented a campus instant messaging and notes sharing system. This
new account will allow you to add your classes and easily communicate
with your classmates online. There are built-in forums for question/answer,
and areas to request/share course notes. We hope to have most students
in the system this week. Should you have any questions, please let me know!

SETUP YOUR ACCOUNT AT: http://www.CampusNext.org
