Merger to provide one-stop shop for network installation needs

The Electronics Design and Maintenance Shop Building is located behind Hardman Hall, Building 1632 on the UGA Campus Map
ATHENS, Ga.— Effective July 1, 2008, the TEC Services Telecommunications Cabling Installation Section (TCI) will become part of the EITS Network Infrastructure Department. This will allow for a more integrated approach to the installation of data, telephone, CATV, and wireless infrastructure. All current TCI installation services will continue to be available as before.

The expanded EITS Network Infrastructure Department, including University Cablevision, will be housed in the Electronics Design and Maintenance Shop Building, which is located behind Hardman Hall on D.W. Brooks Dr.

The other services offered by TEC Services, such as printer repair, computer repair, instrument repair, office equipment maintenance, and electronics parts sales,, will remain with TEC Services and are not affected by this realignment.
