UGA students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to program UGAAlert
into their phones
ATHENS, Ga.—
UGAAlert, the emergency mass notification system for the UGA campus, requests that UGA students, faculty, and staff with a valid MyID program the UGAAlert number (706 542-0111) into their cell phones to more easily identify UGAAlert as the source of the call.
"If every man, woman and child on campus would program 706 542-0111
into their phone as UGA Alert," says Pete Golden, Emergency Operations
Coordinator, UGA Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness,
"it would benefit everyone."
