EITS staff receive Dwight Douglas Award for Service

ATHENS, Ga.— Tanya Crowe Boles, application analyst associate in the EITS Application Solutions Group (ASG), and Judy Howell, IT senior manager in the EITS Telephone Services Group, were each honored at the Department of Housing Awards and Recognition Celebration on May 13, where they received the Dwight Douglas Award for Service in recognition of service and support to Department of Housing.

"It was an honor to be selected for the Dwight Douglas Award for Service, and it is always a pleasure to work with the many wonderful and hard-working individuals at UGA Housing," said Howell.

The Dwight Douglas Award for Service to the Division is named in honor of Dwight Douglas, the University of Georgia's first Vice President for Student Affairs. This award recognizes an individual and a group/department demonstrating exemplary and sustained service to the Division of Student Affairs or departments therein. These individuals may have contributed to the Division by improving working conditions or by providing leadership through the creative development/implementation of improvements to enhance student life, delivery of services to students, or administrative processes.
