The UGA on ITunes U Web site includes podcasts created by faculty and staff at the University
ATHENS, Ga.— Robert Eithier, an IT professional in EITS, and David Noah, coordinator of emerging technologies at UGA's Center for Teaching and Learning, were quoted in a recent Columns article on iTunes U at UGA. The article focused on the way that iTunes U is "changing the way UGA students, faculty, and staff learn and communicate with each other."

Kay Sweetser, an assistant professor of public relations, explained the advantages of iTunes U use in the classroom.

Sweetser states in the article [ Full Text] that "by allowing her students to download her daily class lectures, the students become free to participate instead of scribbling notes. It's also a powerful tool for self promotion and a way to keep track of what exactly happened in class. It can help students decide whether or not to take a class."
