OIR Website to be Relaunched with New Look, Features

Monday, July 24, 2017

UGA’s Office of Institutional Research will relaunch its website (oir.uga.edu), effective July 28.

OIR is responsible for the collection, organization, and analysis of institutional and other date to support institutional management, operations, decision-making, and planning functions for the University of Georgia.

Effective July 28, the OIR website will have a new look and enhanced functionality using data visualization.

Visitors will notice easier navigation to find the institutional data for the University they need by topics, such as admissions, enrollment, degrees conferred, academic information, student-related information, and faculty and staff information.

Using data visualization, visitors will also be able to view complex patterns and concepts more efficiently on the revamped OIR site.

Data in the UGA Factbook is also publicly available on the website —both as an interactive report and PDF. For more detailed information, UGA faculty and staff may log in to the Facts & Figures section with their MyID

The revamped website is intended to streamline OIR’s online resources on a modern platform that’s more efficient and meets the University’s needs for providing institutional data.

OIR will be offering training opportunities to learn more about collecting data on the new site. Information about training will be posted on the OIR site in early fall.
