SecureUGA is an online, self-paced security awareness training program for employees of the University of Georgia.
The University System of Georgia requires all new USG institution employees — including faculty, staff and employed students — and contractors to complete a security awareness training program, such as SecureUGA.
Protecting sensitive and restricted data is everyone’s responsibility.
SecureUGA helps UGA employees and contractors understand, identify, and react appropriately to information security threats.
The program is designed to provide training to UGA employees about information security risks and to allow them to demonstrate their knowledge of the materials. UGA employees and contractors must complete their SecureUGA training within 30 days of starting their employment at the University.
SecureUGA is accessible through the UGA eLearning Commons. The training consists of five modules and a quiz. A score of 80% or higher is required to pass the quiz.
To access SecureUGA, University employees must provide their MyID and password.
