Jessica Kissinger, PhD serves as the Associate Chief Information Officer (ACIO) for Research, where she provides leadership in advancing research computing and technology strategy. She oversees the Georgia Advanced Computing Resource Center (GACRC) and collaborates with the Office of Research and campus partners to strengthen UGA’s research community. An internationally recognized scholar in bioinformatics and data science, Dr. Kissinger brings 35 years of academic research experience and 23 years at UGA to this role, along with deep expertise and institutional knowledge. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys scuba diving and is a proud grandmother of three.
