Ashley Henry serves as Associate CIO for Systems and Network Engineering within the University of Georgia’s Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS). He provides strategic leadership and oversight for UGA’s core IT infrastructure, including systems engineering, network engineering, cloud, and enterprise integration initiatives. In this role, he leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions that support the university’s academic, research, and administrative missions.

Prior to joining UGA, Ashley served as an IT Director in the private sector, where he oversaw technology operations across multiple hospitals, more than two dozen employed physician practices and clinics, and an urgent care facility. His private sector experiences operating under the corporate umbrella of two Fortune 500 companies provided deep experience in large-scale enterprise IT best practices.

Ashley has been part of UGA and EITS for nine years and brings more than 20 years of progressive IT experience. He alumnus of Southern New Hampshire University, Georgia College & State University, and Georgia Piedmont Technical College.
