Shannon Marable serves as Interim Associate CIO for Student Information Services. In this role, she provides strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of integrated, enterprise-wide information system solutions. This includes oversight of the university’s commercial student information system, Ellucian Banner, and the Identity and Access Management System. Shannon leads cross-functional teams to foster innovation, optimize operational efficiency, and drive process improvements through strategic planning and effective project management. She has been with UGA and in the IT industry for 25 years and holds certifications as a Certified Information System Administrator (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Outside of work, Shannon enjoys outdoor adventures—especially hiking, swimming, and running.
