EITS Internship Program
The EITS Internship Program is a paid internship program for current undergraduate students in information technology-related majors. This program gives students the opportunity to apply information technology concepts to real-world projects and to gain valuable work experience. This internship program is not tied to any kind of class requirement and is solely for the purpose of gaining work experience.
Types of Work Involved
- Provide project management assistance on various EITS and UGA projects
- Conduct business, systems, and data analysis for numerous divisions of EITS to develop various diagrams, visuals, and complete other documentation efforts
- Lead various special projects for senior leadership within EITS to gather and consolidate documentation, to create visuals for data analytics efforts, and to facilitate process improvement initiatives throughout the organization
- Perform various administrative functions for EITS teams as needed
Work Hours
- Students should be prepared to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
- Students may work a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Exceptions to regularly scheduled hours can be evaluated as needed.
Work Schedule Overview
- 12 weeks for Fall/Spring
- 10 weeks for Summer
- Opportunity to work multiple semesters
