Labview

LabVIEW is a robotics programming language provided to active UGA students, faculty and staff. It is installed on many lab computers in the College of Engineering, the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences and departments under the Office of Research. LabVIEW is also available for download on home or laptop computers for instructional or academic purposes. The software is a product of National Instruments.

Students

How do I access LabVIEW?

  • This software is accessible in many computer labs in the College of Engineering, the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences and the Office of Research.
  • Students who want to download LabVIEW on a personal device should get authorization from an instructor in the College of Engineering, the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences or the Office of Research. 
  • The instructor should email itcla@uga.edu with the student's information. EITS C&L will contact the student to make arrangements for downloading, usually at the EITS Help Desk

LabVIEW is a very large and resource-demanding program. Please budget two hours for downloading the program onto your device.
