Cost Recovery Services
In addition to the provisioning and support of core administrative, educational and infrastructure services, EITS also provides service offerings tailored to the unique needs of UGA departments. These services are provided on a cost recovery basis, with significant cost savings realized by centralized administration of platforms and applications.
Services currently offered include networking connectivity and support; centralized file, web, database application hosting; and desktop support (on-site or remote).
Those units that maintain their own IT staff can contract for a managed ticket tracking system, or gain access to Microsoft and Novell support through EITS premium support portals.
