Cyber Security Toolkit

Tuesday, October 1, 2019

October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM). Cyber security is important because the University of Georgia remains a target for hackers, who attempt to infiltrate our networks and ransom critical data. These attacks rely on human interaction to succeed, so it is vital that all students, faculty and staff remain vigilant.

EITS is launching a Cyber Security campaign throughout the month of October. We encourage every campus unit to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for tips on how to be more cyber secure.

We are also hosting an I.T. Fair on Tuesday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Come enroll a backup device in ArchPass, set up your MyID Profile for password resets, download Office 365 and more. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
