University Cablevision, the University of Georgia’s on-campus cable TV system, has been transitioned to DISH Network.

The technical work to switch from DirecTV to DISH Network was completed prior to the holidays.

This transition brought a change to the network lineup.

With the new channel lineup, 21 networks were added to University Cablevision, including: BBC America, HBO Zone, HBO Comedy, FXX, Nick Toons and Cinemax. A total of 17 networks were removed, including: HBO Family West, FYI, Lifetime Movies, ESPN Classic and UP.

Customers do not need to reprogram their TVs, but should be aware of the new channel lineup.
