How to Access Athena Off-Campus

Students, faculty and staff who are off-campus should use the Remote Access VPN or the vLab service to access Athena.

Download the Remote Access VPN client here. Once you have downloaded and installed the client, log in with your MyID and password and verify your credentials with ArchPass, powered by Duo. Then you should be able to open your web browser and access Athena at athena.uga.edu. Full instructions for downloading and using the VPN client are available on our Knowledge Base.

Access vLab here. Log in with your MyID and password, and verify your credentials  with ArchPass, powered by Duo. Then you should be able to open your web browser and access Athena at athena.uga.edu. Full instructions for using vLab are available on our Knowledge Base.

 

Parents and Guardians: 

If you are trying to pay a bill for your student, you will need to be made an authorized user on their account. 

For instructions on how your student can set you up as an authorized user, please see these instructions from the Bursars office. 

Once your student has set you up as an authorized user,  you can log in to pay your bill here
