The Georgia Advanced Computing Resource Center (GACRC) at the University of Georgia has launched a new website at http://gacrc.uga.edu.

The new site provides an overview of the GACRC; outlines its High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters, servers and storage; and specifies its software available to researchers.

To complement the new site, the GACRC has also launched a new wiki page with in-depth information on its systems, software and libraries. The GACRC website and wiki also provide information on how to apply for accounts on GACRC machines, connecting to those machines and running jobs on GACRC’s machines.

The GACRC provides to the UGA research and education community an advanced computing environment comprised of a high-performance computing and networking infrastructure located at the Boyd Data Center, a comprehensive collection of scientific, engineering and business applications, as well as consulting and training services.

The GACRC is a collaborative partnership between the Vice President for Research and the Vice President for Information Technology. Dr. Guy Cormier is the director of the GACRC.
