Mobile App: 5 Helpful Modules for Off-Campus Use
Wednesday, May 27, 2020
EITS works directly with the Student Government Association on features for the Official UGA Mobile app. Ideas for modules come from various suggestions – some come from EITS and some are at the request of the SGA – but it's a team effort to decide what gets included.
Mentor Program – With this module, students can register and find mentors who are UGA alumni or
Board members to ask any questions and receive career advice. During this time of
social distancing, students can still get quality counseling and guidance from this
supportive community.
Wellness Resources – This module provides simple, easy access to the services that the University Health Center provides for students, such as the Health Center, Mental Wellness, Sexual Assault, or other General Resources.
SAGE – Staying on track for classes is easier than ever with the SAGE module. Students can make or manage their advising appointments from a distance.
Student Resources - Students can enjoy all the student resources that UGA provides to improve academics, wellness, engagement, and so much more. SGA and Student Affairs developed a new web page where all student resources are accessible with only a few clicks of navigation.
UGA Career Center –With the UGA Career Center module students have access to all the help the University provides to develop their career. Whether it’s questions about potential careers of certain majors or conversations with career consultants, this module will help bridge the gap between career potential and achievement.
