EITS Telephone Services is upgrading the University’s voicemail system on August 30-31, 2017.
Voicemail boxes will be transitioned to the new system on August 30, starting at 5:30 p.m. The process will be completed by 7 a.m. on August 31.
During the migration window, users with UGA voicemail boxes will not be able to access their accounts. However, callers may continue to leave messages in those voicemail boxes. Messages in voicemail boxes will be transitioned automatically to the new system.
After the transition, users will be required to change their voicemail passcode.

After the transition, users with UGA voicemail will be required to enter a new passcode the first time you access voicemail.
Users must create a strong passcode for their voicemail accounts. Creating a strong passcode requires:
All other functions for voicemail should be the same after the migration.
Not all UGA faculty and staff have voicemail boxes. Each unit has a designated Departmental Telephone Representative, who is being asked to directly advise their users with voicemail boxes about this change.
