Tuesday, April 5, 2016
Need help setting up your UGAMail or using eLearning Commons in your teaching? Looking for information on research computing? Want the contacts for your college’s IT Help Desk?
UGA faculty can find all this and more on the new site for faculty technology resources, facultyit.uga.edu.
EITS launched the new site to provide a one-stop shop for faculty to find information on all the technology resources available to them at the University.
The site includes all the information in the printed technology resources guide for faculty and staff, including:
- A technology checklist for new employees, which includes setting up your MyID and UGAMail, connecting to the wireless and wired networks and setting up your office phone
- Links to instructional technology information, including eLC, student response systems and classroom technology support
- Links to research computing resources and data reporting resources
- Contacts for college and unit IT help desks
Copies of the printed guide are also still available. For more information about facultyit.uga.edu or to receive copies of the printed faculty technology resources guide, contact Sara Pauff at spauff@uga.edu.
