vLab log-in screen getting a new look
Tuesday, July 19, 2016
The University of Georgia’s virtual computer lab, vLab, is getting an update.
Students, faculty and staff who access vLab on their personal devices after July 30 will see a new, sleeker log-in screen with the vLab logo. An example of the new log-in screen is pictured below.
The changes are part of the updates to the vLab login page and will only affect users who access vLab on a personal computer or mobile device. It will not affect users at computer labs on campus, such as the Miller Learning Center.
UGA’s vLab allows students, faculty and staff with a MyID and password to access a lab environment with applications to use on their work and personal devices, regardless if they are on or off campus.
Desktop users can access computer lab applications, such as MATLAB and Blender, directly through their web browser. Tablet or smartphone users must download and install the free Citrix Receiver app from the App Store or Google Play before accessing vLab.
